The South Axis of Amsterdam has a lot to offer. A grandeur, hardly fitting in the Dutch tradition. Many foreign architectures were involved in the designing. The South Axis is a concurrent of foreign sites like the South Bank in London, Potzdammerplatz in Berlin and La Défence in Paris. South Axis is not a nine-to-five district like La Défence. South Axis is supposed to become a district with a mix of functions like offices, apartments, hotels, restaurants, etc.
